Kettle Brand is a pioneer in the premium snack industry, recognized for its commitment to high-quality, natural ingredients and the traditional kettle-cooking method which produces a signature thick and crunchy texture. Founded in 1978 in Salem, Oregon, by Cameron Healy, the brand began as the N.S. Khalsa Company before evolving into the Kettle Brand we know today. Over the decades, it has expanded its flavor profile to include unique varieties like Pepperoncini, which blends tangy vinegar with the mild heat of real peppers.

Manufacturing remains rooted in its origins, with primary production facilities located in Salem, Oregon, and Beloit, Wisconsin. The Beloit facility is particularly notable for being the first food manufacturing plant in the U.S. to receive LEED Gold Certification for its sustainable design. The brand also maintains a significant international presence with separate manufacturing and management for Europe and the Middle East, historically based out of Norwich, United Kingdom.

Ownership of Kettle Brand has transitioned through several major food corporations. After being acquired by Diamond Foods in 2010 and subsequently by Snyder's-Lance in 2016, the brand ultimately became part of the Campbell Soup Company portfolio in 2018. Under the Campbell's Snacks division, Kettle Brand continues to lead the natural chip category while adhering to its founding principles of environmental stewardship and authentic flavor innovation.
