Graasten Remoulade is a quintessential Danish condiment, deep-rooted in the culinary traditions of Southern Jutland. Originally founded in 1947 by Johannes Rasmussen in the town of Gråsten, Denmark, the brand began as a small local production that the founder sold personally from his delivery van. Over decades, it evolved into a beloved national household staple, famous for its original recipe used on classic dishes like fish fillets and fries.

Since 2003, the brand has been part of a larger corporate framework. It initially merged with the Norwegian food group Agra and was later integrated under the Stryhns Gruppen in 2008.
