Renowned for its high-quality production, the brand historically served the Neapolitan aristocracy and was synonymous with artisanal excellence. The specific product shown, 'La Tofarella' N°138, is a shell-shaped pasta made from 100% Italian 'Aureo' wheat, a high-protein variety selected specifically for its superior cooking properties.

Since 1973, Voiello has been owned by the Barilla Group, based in Parma. While the brand maintains its identity as a premium Neapolitan label, production is primarily centered in the technologically advanced plant in Marcianise, Caserta.
