Tennent's Super Strong Lager

Tennent's Super is a high-strength lager with deep Scottish roots, having been originally developed by the J&R Tennent brewery at Wellpark in Glasgow. While the core Tennent's Lager brand is owned by the C&C Group and continues to be brewed in Scotland, the rights to the Tennent's Super brand were retained by Anheuser-Busch InBev (AB InBev) following the 2009 sale of the brewery.

Today, Tennent's Super is a major cultural phenomenon in Italy, where it is marketed as a premium, "exotic" Scottish import and is widely available in glass bottles. Production for international markets, including Italy, typically occurs at AB InBev facilities in Luton, England, or Bremen, Germany. Despite its international production, the branding maintains a strong association with its Glaswegian heritage and the iconic red 'T' logo.
