PDR Cigars is a premium artisanal brand and manufacturer based in the Dominican Republic. Originally founded in 2004 by Master Blender Abraham 'Abe' Flores as Pinar Del Rio Cigars, the company was later rebranded to Puros Dominican Republic (PDR) to better honor its Dominican heritage while maintaining its nod to traditional Cuban rolling methods such as the 'entubado' technique.

The PDR 1878 series is the brand's core line, named after the founding year of the Pinar del Río province in Cuba. The Capa Madura variant is specifically known for its dark Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper, providing a medium-bodied smoke with a complex, sweet profile. Today, the brand remains an independent boutique operation led by Abe Flores, with its own manufacturing facility located in Tamboril, Dominican Republic, and a distribution headquarters in Miami, Florida.
