Mühle Razor Blades

Mühle is a prestigious German brand specializing in traditional wet shaving products. Founded in 1945 by Otto Johannes Müller in Stützengrün, East Germany, the company began in a small laundry room crafting shaving brushes. Over the decades, it survived the challenges of the GDR era, including state expropriation in 1972 when it was forced to become a state-owned enterprise (VEB).

Following the reunification of Germany in 1990, the founder's son, Hans-Jürgen Müller, successfully reprivatized the family business. Today, Mühle remains a family-owned and operated company, managed by the third generation, Christian and Andreas Müller. The brand is renowned for its high-quality razor blades, safety razors, and brushes, most of which are still manufactured with a high degree of craftsmanship in Saxony, Germany.
