Scythe board game

Scythe is a critically acclaimed 4X strategy board game set in an alternate-history 1920s Europe, featuring dieselpunk mechs and agricultural themes. The game was designed by Jamey Stegmaier and features a distinctive visual world created by Polish artist Jakub Różalski.

The game is published by Stonemaier Games, an American board game publisher based in St. Louis, Missouri. The company was founded in 2012 by Jamey Stegmaier and Alan Stone. Scythe was famously launched via a highly successful Kickstarter campaign in 2015, raising over $1.8 million from more than 17,000 backers.

While the brand and creative direction originate from the United States, the physical production of Scythe is conducted in China. Stonemaier Games primarily utilizes Panda Game Manufacturing, a leading global producer of tabletop games with facilities located in China, to ensure high-quality wood, plastic, and cardboard components.
