THOMY Die Natürlich Leichte is a reduced-fat salad cream alternative to mayonnaise, containing 64% less fat than standard mayonnaise. It is markets as being made with 100% natural ingredients and eggs from free-range farming.

The THOMY brand was originally founded in Switzerland in 1907 by Fritz Thomi-Schaad under the name Helvetia. The brand became famous for its innovation in 1930 when Hans Thomi began selling mustard in aluminum tubes and changed the brand name to 'THOMY' (replacing the 'i' with a 'y' for international appeal).

Since 1971, THOMY has been owned by the Swiss multinational Nestlé. While the brand maintains strong Swiss roots with production in Basel, a significant portion of its manufacturing for the European market occurs in Germany (specifically in Neuss and Karlsruhe) and Serbia. Notably, as of early 2025, Nestlé announced restructuring plans that include closing some German production sites (like Neuss) by 2026 and shifting certain operations to other European locations, meaning the manufacturing footprint continues to evolve.
