Gregg's Mild American Mustard

Gregg's Mild American Mustard is a popular condiment in New Zealand, recognized by its signature yellow squeeze bottle and 'Kiwi Made' status. The brand was founded in 1861 by William Gregg in Dunedin, New Zealand, where it initially specialized in coffee and spices. Over more than 160 years, it expanded into a wide range of food products including sauces, desserts, and seasonings.

Today, the Gregg's brand for food and instant coffee is owned by the Kraft Heinz Company. This ownership followed the 2018 acquisition of the Cerebos food and coffee division from the Japanese Suntory Group. While some of the manufacturing operations have consolidated or moved over the decades, this specific mustard continues to be produced in New Zealand using a blend of local and imported ingredients to maintain its traditional flavor profile tailored for the local market.
