The brand's history dates back to 1960, when the Martín Ondarza family established their first bakery workshop in Malagón, Ciudad Real. Over several decades, the family business evolved from artisanal production to industrial automation, inaugurating its first dedicated factory in 1996.

The product is manufactured in Spain, specifically at Mandul's industrial facilities in Malagón. These facilities have consistently expanded to meet both domestic and international demand, maintaining food safety certifications like IFS Food. In 2022, the brand underwent a significant management shift when it was acquired by the investment group MIA Foods, which now oversees its strategic direction and ongoing international expansion while preserving the brand's heritage.
