The brand was founded in 1965 by Dimas Sánchez de la Morena Tronco. The name 'Kiriko' has a unique origin, named after the founder's brother, José, who was born on the feast day of Saint Quírico; the 'K' was used to ensure the trademark could be successfully registered. Today, Casa Kiriko remains a family-owned Spanish company (Casa Kiriko S.L.) and has expanded its presence to international markets, offering a wide range of home care and personal hygiene products.
