Herta Le Bon Paris is a prominent line of high-quality cooked hams produced by Herta, a brand with deep roots in European charcuterie. The 'Le Bon Paris' range is specifically crafted under the French branch of the company and is a staple in French households, known for various preparations such as 'À l'Étouffée' (slow-cooked) or reduced-salt versions.

The brand Herta was originally founded in 1897 by Ludwig and Wilhelmine Schweisfurth in Herten, Germany. However, its French operations became a significant, semi-independent pillar of the brand's identity over the twentieth century. For decades, Herta was a hallmark of the Nestlé portfolio; however, in late 2019, Nestlé entered into a joint venture agreement with the Spanish food giant Casa Tarradellas.

As of 2024 and beyond, the Herta brand (including the Le Bon Paris line) is managed by a joint venture where Casa Tarradellas holds a 60% controlling stake and Nestlé retains 40%. The production for the French market remains primarily centered in France, notably at the manufacturing facility in Saint-Pol-sur-Ternoise, ensuring the product maintains its 'Made in France' designation and utilizes various French pork sources.
