Mutti Polpa is a premium canned tomato product consisting of finely chopped tomatoes. It was first introduced in 1971 by Mutti, using a cold-processing method to preserve the fresh aroma and texture of the fruit, making it a cornerstone of the brand's identity.

The product is manufactured exclusively in Italy, utilizing 100% Italian tomatoes sourced from over 400 contracted farmers. The primary production and headquarters are located in the Montechiarugolo region of Parma, within Italy's famous 'Food Valley'. Mutti also operates a specialized factory called Fiordagosto in Southern Italy to process regional specialties like San Marzano and cherry tomatoes.

Founded in 1899 by brothers Marcellino and Callisto Mutti, the company remains a private, family-owned enterprise. Today, it is led by the fourth generation, with Francesco Mutti serving as CEO. The brand is recognized globally as a leader in high-quality tomato products, maintaining its independence while receiving strategic investment from firms like Verlinvest to support international growth.
