Efco garden equipment

Efco is a prominent brand in the outdoor power equipment (OPE) industry, known for its high-performance garden, forestry, and agricultural machinery. The brand was founded in 1978 by Giacomo Ferretti in Italy, initially specializing in brushcutters and trimmers. In 1992, Efco merged with Oleo-Mac, another Italian leader in the sector, to form the Emak Group. This merger combined their manufacturing and managerial resources to create a competitive global entity.

Today, Efco products including lawnmowers, chainsaws, and garden tractors are largely designed and manufactured in Italy at the group's facilities in Bagnolo in Piano and Pozzilli. To serve a global market, the group also operates production units in other strategic locations, most notably in Jiangmen, China, where home-use or entry-level models are produced under strict Italian oversight. The brand is managed by Emak S.p.A., which is listed on the Milan Stock Exchange and operates as a leading player in the international green care solutions market.
