Dr. Greve is a historic Norwegian skincare brand with roots dating back to 1890. It was originally founded by Dr. Mathias Sigwardt Greve, a prominent physician and director at Rikshospitalet, who sought to create mild and safe hygiene products for children. The rights to the brand were later acquired by Lilleborg in 1971.

Today, the brand is owned by Orkla ASA, a leading Norwegian industrial conglomerate. While the brand remains Norwegian in its heritage and corporate headquarters, manufacturing primarily takes place at Orkla's specialized production facilities in Sweden to ensure high quality and dermatological standards for the Nordic market.
