Little Creatures is a pioneering Australian craft beer brand that rose to fame following its establishment in 2000. Founded by a group of brewing veterans from Matilda Bay Brewing—Howard Cearns, Nic Trimboli, and Phil Sexton—the brand's spiritual home is a converted former crocodile farm in Fremantle, Western Australia. The name 'Little Creatures' is a nod to the live yeast cells responsible for the fermentation process, which the founders viewed as the hardworking 'creatures' behind their beer.

While the brand began as an independent craft venture under the parent company Little World Beverages (LWB), its rapid success led to significant corporate interest. In 2012, Lion Nathan (now simply Lion) completed a full acquisition of the brand, integrating it into its extensive portfolio of adult beverages.

Today, Little Creatures Amber Ale is produced primarily in Australia. The company maintains two major brewing facilities: the original site in Fremantle and a secondary, large-scale operation in Geelong, Victoria, which opened in 2013 to better serve the East Coast market. As of 2026, the brand remains under the ultimate ownership of the Japanese multinational Kirin Holdings Company, Limited, which operates Lion as a subsidiary.
