Bzen electric bike

Bzen is a sustainable electric bicycle brand that prides itself on European craftsmanship and locally sourced components. Founded in 2018 with roots in Belgium, the company was established by Pierre Detry, who sought to create ultra-lightweight and stylish e-bikes tailored specifically for urban commuters.

While the brand's design and engineering are driven from Belgium, the production is concentrated in Poland. Bzen operates its own assembly workshop near Warsaw, allowing for tight quality control and a reduced carbon footprint. In late 2024 and heading into 2025, the brand moved into a new phase of growth following its first external investment from strategic partner Alexander Sorg, aimed at scaling its operations across major European cities like Antwerp, Amsterdam, and Berlin.
