Barnängen Schampo Glans

Barnängen is a storied Swedish dental and personal care brand with a legacy dating back to 1868, when it was founded by Johan Wilhelm Holmström in Stockholm. The brand became famous for its iconic bar soap and was even appointed Bearer of the Royal Warrant by the Swedish royal court in 1876.

Today, Barnängen is owned by the German multinational conglomerate Henkel. While the brand is deeply rooted in Swedish culture and heritage, its mass-market products are primarily manufactured in Henkel's production facilities in Germany (indicated on the product label by the Düsseldorf headquarters address). Ownership remains with Henkel, which manages the brand globally within its Consumer Brands business unit.
