JET Fuel and Lubricants

JET is a prominent European fuel brand that focuses on providing high-quality petrol, diesel, and lubricants at competitive prices. Founded in 1954 by Bill Roberts in Yorkshire, United Kingdom, the brand was named after the 'JET' lettering on his first delivery tanker. Over the decades, it became a major player in the UK, Germany, and Austria, known for its iconic yellow and blue branding.

Historically, JET was owned by Conoco (later ConocoPhillips) before being spun off into Phillips 66 in 2012. Manufacturing of JET products occurs at various refineries, notably the Humber Refinery in the UK, which produces a significant portion of the country's road fuels. In line with modern energy transitions, the brand is increasingly focusing on biofuels and electric vehicle charging infrastructure. As of 2025, a majority stake in JET's operations in Germany and Austria is held by the investment firm Stonepeak, in partnership with Energy Equation Partners, while Phillips 66 maintains a minority interest.
