Gerblé is a pioneering French health and nutrition brand founded in 1928 by engineer Marceau Richard in the Lyon region. The brand became famous for its wheat germ-based products, focusing on natural nutritional benefits.

Today, Gerblé is owned by Nutrition & Santé, a leading European health food company headquartered in Revel, France. Nutrition & Santé itself is a subsidiary of the Japanese pharmaceutical and nutraceutical giant Otsuka Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Despite its global ownership, Gerblé maintains a strong commitment to local production; the majority of its products are manufactured in several key sites across France, including Revel (Haute-Garonne) for biscuits and bars, Annonay (Ardèche), and Venette (Oise) for gluten-free items.
