The dairy itself is an independent cooperative owned by local farmers on Bornholm, and it is renowned for its high-quality cheeses, including several World Cheese Championship titles.

In the Swedish market, this specific product is distributed and branded in collaboration with Wernersson Ost. Wernersson Ost is a major Swedish cheese importer and refiner based in Ulricehamn. While the cheese is made in Denmark, Wernersson Ost handles the packaging and marketing for Sweden. Wernersson Ost has been a subsidiary of the Norwegian dairy group TINE SA since 2007, making TINE the ultimate owner of the distribution brand appearing on the label.
