The product shown belongs to Gourmet, the leading private-label brand of Transgourmet Ibérica (formerly GM Food). Launched in 1986, the Gourmet brand encompasses a wide range of over 1,100 high-quality food products, ranging from oils and sauces to pastas, rice, and frozen goods. The brand is specifically designed to offer professional quality to the hospitality sector (Horeca) and consumers through various retail channels.

Throughout its history, the brand was part of General Markets Food Iberica (GM Food), a Spanish company with roots dating back decades in the distribution sector. In 2021, the company was acquired by the Swiss group Transgourmet, which is a subsidiary of the Coop Cooperative (Coop Genossenschaft). This acquisition integrated the Spanish brand into one of Europe's largest wholesale and retail networks. While the brand is Spanish in origin and most manufacturing remains localized in Spain to serve its primary market, it is now under the ultimate ownership of Swiss interests.
