Pai Skincare

Pai Skincare was founded in 2007 by Sarah Brown in London, United Kingdom. The brand was born out of Brown's personal struggle with chronic urticaria and hyper-sensitive skin, leading her to create a line of certified organic and ethical products specifically for sensitive complexions.

Unlike many beauty brands that outsource production, Pai Skincare maintains full vertical integration by formulating and manufacturing all of its products in-house at its own specialized laboratory and factory (Pai Labs) in West London. This allows the brand to ensure the highest standards of purity and sustainability, earning certifications such as B Corp, COSMOS (Soil Association), The Vegan Society, and Leaping Bunny (Cruelty Free International).

In April 2023, Famille C Participations, the private investment firm of the Courtin-Clarins family (the owners of the Clarins Group), acquired a majority stake in Pai Skincare. While the brand is now majority-owned by the French investment firm, it continues to operate from its London headquarters with founder Sarah Brown retaining a significant shareholding and a leadership role.
