Swedemount outdoor and sportswear

Swedemount is a Swedish brand specialized in technical outdoor gear and sportswear, designed to withstand the harsh Nordic climate. Founded in 1991 by Reinert Sörensson following a trekking expedition in the Himalayas, the brand was born out of a need for durable, high-performance clothing.

While the brand's design, testing, and headquarters remain in Grebbestad, Sweden, its manufacturing is distributed internationally across various production sites, including significant operations in Bangladesh and other global hubs, to balance quality with affordable pricing.

Swedemount serves as the flagship in-house brand for the major Swedish retailer Sportshopen. After navigating a successful financial restructuring process in 2023-2024, the brand continues to operate under the ownership of Swedemount Sportswear & Fashion AB, which remains a privately held entity led by its original founder.
