Salvequick Aqua Resist water-resistant plasters

Salvequick is a long-standing European leader in the adhesive bandage and wound care market. The brand was founded in Sweden in 1947 by Christian Cederroth (under the name Salvekvick), emerging as a pioneer in the industry by launching Europe's first single-packed pre-cut plasters in 1953.

While the brand maintains its historical roots and strong headquarters presence in the Nordic region, the manufacturing of the Aqua Resist line and most other plaster products takes place at a specialized production facility in Barcelona, Spain. The brand was historically part of the Swedish company Cederroth AB, which was acquired in 2015 by the Norwegian industrial conglomerate Orkla. Today, Salvequick is managed under the Orkla Health division, a leading supplier of consumer health products across Europe.
