Today, the brand operates as part of the Unternehmensgruppe Theo Müller (Müller Group), which remains 100% family-owned. While the group's administrative headquarters are located in Luxembourg to manage its vast international interests, the brand's heritage remains firmly rooted in Germany. Manufacturing is decentralized to ensure product freshness; for instance, products sold in Germany are produced at major sites like Leppersdorf and Aretsried, while the UK market is supplied by a network of British dairies. This strategy has established Müller as one of the largest privately held dairy processors in Europe.
