Founded in 1971 by Wendell Cross in Colorado, the company is widely recognized for its high-quality thermometers, compasses, and light-related accessories tailored for hikers, campers, and explorers. A hallmark of the brand is its commitment to domestic manufacturing, with much of its production and assembly still taking place at its facility in Wheat Ridge, Colorado.
