El Tendre Tradicional 01 Olive Oil

El Tendre is a highly traditional Spanish olive oil brand with deep roots in the Elche (Alicante) region. The brand is associated with Almazara El Tendre, a century-old oil mill founded in 1839. It holds the distinction of being one of the oldest companies in the Valencian Community.

The brand has been managed by the same family for over six generations, beginning when Joaquín Sempere García inherited the mill. The 'El Tendre' name itself comes from a family nickname given to the founder. Today, the company remains a family-owned enterprise (Almazara El Tendre S.L.), producing a variety of oils including the 'Tradicional 01' line, which is typically a blend of olives local to the Alicante area like Cornicabra and Blanqueta. The entire production process, from harvesting to milling and bottling, is carried out locally in Spain, maintaining traditional methods alongside modern industrial standards.
