Trocadero, often affectionately called 'Troca,' is an iconic Swedish carbonated soft drink celebrated for its distinct blend of apple and orange flavors. Launched in 1953 by Saturnus AB in Malmö, it gained immense popularity, particularly in northern Sweden where it is sometimes regarded as a regional national beverage. For decades, it was one of the few caffeine-containing sodas in the country besides cola drinks.
Over the years, the brand's ownership shifted as Saturnus transitioned its business focus. In 2006, the brand was sold to NordArom AB, which licensed its production to various local breweries. In 2017, the ownership was consolidated when Spendrups Bryggeri AB acquired the brand, eventually becoming the sole manufacturer to ensure consistent quality and production standards. Today, Trocadero continues to be produced in Sweden at Spendrups' facilities in locations like Grängesberg.
