Cadum is a historic French skincare and hygiene brand famous for its iconic 'Bébé Cadum' mascot. It was founded in 1907 by Michael Winburn and Louis Nathan, who initially developed a treatment balm for skin conditions. The brand's signature pink soap bar was launched in 1912 and became a symbol of modern hygiene in France during the early 20th century.

Over the decades, ownership of the brand has changed several times. It was acquired by Colgate-Palmolive in 1952 and later returned to French ownership through private equity firms. In 2012, the L'Oréal Group officially acquired Cadum to strengthen its consumer products portfolio. Today, Cadum remains a leader in the French market for family hygiene, known for its gentle formulations and almond-based scents.
