VIVIL candy

VIVIL is a historic German confectionery brand specializing in sugar-free candies and breath fresheners. The brand was founded in 1903 by August Müller in Strasbourg (then part of the German Empire). Inspired by his military service where he realized the need for portable refreshment, Müller created the peppermint candy and named it after his wife's French maiden name.

Following World War I, the company relocated to Offenburg, Germany, which has remained its headquarters and primary manufacturing base for over a century. In the 1960s, VIVIL pioneered the shift toward sugar-free confectionery, positioning itself as a leader in the segment long before it became a global trend. Today, the brand's products are manufactured in a high-tech facility in Offenburg using natural ingredients like peppermint oil.

VIVIL remains a family-run business, currently managed by the fourth generation of the Müller family under the company name VIVIL A. Müller GmbH & Co. KG. The brand exports its diverse range of hard, soft, and cream-filled candies to over 30 countries worldwide.
