In 2017, Affinity Tool Works strategically expanded its portfolio by acquiring Centipede Tool, the creator of the popular 'Centipede' support system. Following this acquisition, the company rebranded its core lines as BORA PortaMate, integrating the Centipede technology into the Bora ecosystem. In November 2023, Bora Tool was acquired by OX Tools, a global construction tool manufacturer.
