Jané is a prestigious Spanish brand that has been a leader in the childcare industry since its founding in 1932. The brand was established in Barcelona by Manuel Jané Vidal after he designed a custom stroller for his son. This innovation led to the creation of one of Europe's most recognized manufacturers of baby gear, including strollers, safety car seats, and highchairs.

While the brand's design and engineering remain deeply rooted in Spain—specifically at its headquarters in Palau-solità i Plegamans, Barcelona—production is distributed globally. High-tech safety components and design prototypes are often managed in Spain, where the company operates its own advanced R&D and crash-testing laboratory (Jané Crash Test Research Center). However, mass manufacturing of various textile-based products and certain hardware components occurs in multiple countries, including China.

Today, Jané is any integral part of the Jané Group (Jané Group/Grupo Jané), which also encompasses other brands like Be Cool and Concord. The group is headquartered in Spain and remains a primary authority in European child safety standards, being a founding member of the Spanish Alliance for Child Road Safety (AESVi).
