Terea for IQOS ILUMA tobacco sticks

TEREA is a specialized line of heated tobacco sticks designed exclusively for use with the IQOS ILUMA induction heating system. Unlike traditional cigarettes that burn tobacco, TEREA sticks contain a metal heating element that works with the device's SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM™ to heat the tobacco from within, creating a nicotine-containing aerosol without fire, ash, or smoke.

The product is manufactured in several strategic locations globally to meet regional demand. Key production hubs include Italy, which supplies much of the European and Japanese markets, as well as South Korea, Greece, Romania, Indonesia, and Kazakhstan. Recently, the owner has invested in expanded production facilities in the United States to support the brand's growth and missions toward smoke-free alternatives.

Ownership of the TEREA brand lies with Philip Morris International (PMI), a leading global tobacco company that has pivoted its business model toward developing and commercializing scientifically substantiated smoke-free products. While PMI was historically part of the American group Altria, it became an independent company in 2008 and is now headquartered in Switzerland.
