Hill Biscuits Gingerbread Men

Hill Biscuits is a historic British bakery founded in 1855 by John and Sarah Hill in Dukinfield, Greater Manchester. The company remains deeply rooted in its heritage, having operated from the Tudno Mill in Ashton-under-Lyne since 1893. Over nearly 170 years, it has evolved from a small family shop into one of the UK’s largest manufacturers of traditional biscuits, known for classics like Custard Creams, Bourbons, and these Gingerbread Men.

In July 2024, the brand entered a new chapter when it was acquired by Cerealto UK, the British arm of the Spanish manufacturing giant Cerealto. Prior to this, the business had been backed by the private equity firm LDC (part of Lloyds Banking Group) since 2017. Under its new ownership, Hill Biscuits continues to produce its range in Manchester while leveraging the global expertise of Cerealto to expand into new categories, including savory snacks.
