Flux Toothpaste

Flux is a well-established oral care brand that originated in Sweden, developed in close collaboration with Swedish dental professionals. The brand first gained prominence with its fluoride rinses, eventually expanding into a full suite of oral hygiene products including toothpastes, chewing gums, and tablets. It is currently recognized as one of the leading oral care brands in the Nordic region, frequently recommended by dentists for its high fluoride content and efficacy in preventing cavities.

Originally part of a portfolio held by Teva Pharmaceuticals, the brand was acquired by Karo Healthcare (formerly Karo Pharma) in early 2021 as part of a strategic move to consolidate their consumer healthcare assets. While some manufacturing historically took place in Dalarna, Sweden—particularly for its mouthwash range—the production for the overall brand now involves several contract manufacturing partners across Europe to support its distribution in over 90 countries. Today, Flux is managed as a key asset within the Karo Healthcare portfolio, aimed at delivering professional-grade dental care to the mass market.
