Hubbards cereal

Hubbards is a prominent New Zealand breakfast cereal brand that has been a staple in Kiwi households since its inception. Founded in 1990 by Dick and Diana Hubbard in their garage, the brand initially operated under the name Winner Foods before being renamed to reflect the founders' family name. Hubbards is credited with creating New Zealand's first muesli and has since expanded its portfolio to include a wide variety of granolas, clusters, and traditional cereals.

In 2018, the brand underwent a significant ownership change when it was acquired by Walter & Wild, a food manufacturing group owned by Harry Hart and his father, the billionaire businessman Graeme Hart. Despite this change in corporate ownership, the brand maintains its strong New Zealand identity, with core manufacturing operations still centered at its headquarters in Mangere Bridge, Auckland. While the primary production remains in New Zealand to serve the local and export markets, the brand's reach continues to grow under the management of Walter & Wild's extensive consumer goods network.
