Ruinart Rosé Champagne

Ruinart is recognized as the oldest established Champagne house in the world, founded in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart in Reims, France. The brand was inspired by the intuition of Nicolas's uncle, Dom Thierry Ruinart, a Benedictine monk who foresaw the future success of 'wine with bubbles' among the European aristocracy.

Today, Ruinart's production remains deeply rooted in its historic location in Reims. The champagne is aged in the 'Crayères,' ancient chalk quarries that extend nearly 40 meters underground and are recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage site. These cellars provide the constant temperature and humidity essential for the slow maturation process that gives Ruinart its signature elegance and finesse.

While originally a family-owned enterprise for over two centuries, Ruinart is now part of the Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton (LVMH) group. Within LVMH, it is managed under the Moët Hennessy division, which oversees a prestigious portfolio of wine and spirits brands. Despite its corporate ownership, the maison maintains its distinct identity and continues to produce its high-end cuvées exclusively in the Champagne region.
