Kung Markatta Rooibos Original tea

Kung Markatta Rooibos Original is a premium organic herbal tea sourced from South Africa's Cederberg region and primarily packaged or manufactured in Germany. As a rooibos (or 'red bush') tea, it is naturally caffeine-free and carries the EU's Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) status, ensuring the raw material comes from its traditional geographic home.

The brand Kung Markatta was a pioneer in the organic food movement, founded in Sweden in 1983. It focuses on sustainability and high-quality organic ingredients. In 2016, the brand was acquired by Midsona AB, a leading Nordic health and well-being group. The tea remains a staple in the Swedish market, recognized for its Fairtrade and KRAV organic certifications, reflecting the brand's long-standing commitment to ethical trade and ecological standards.
