Milton Brown (1903–1936) was a legendary American band leader and vocalist, widely celebrated as the 'Father of Western Swing.' Along with Bob Wills, he pioneered a unique musical hybrid that fused hillbilly, jazz, and pop styles. His band, the Musical Brownies, became the first true Western swing group, notably introducing the electrically amplified steel guitar to the genre.
