Electrify (Electrode Electrify)

Electrify is a specialized developer tool and web application designed for visualizing and analyzing Webpack bundles. It was developed as part of the Electrode project, a suite of tools intended to provide a universal React/Node.js application platform with enterprise-grade features. The tool helps software engineers identify oversized modules or duplicate dependencies that could potentially bloat application file sizes and slow down performance.

Originally created by the engineering team at WalmartLabs, the technology arm of Walmart Inc., Electrify was part of a larger initiative to open-source internal tools that helped the retail giant manage its massive e-commerce infrastructure. Ownership remains with Walmart through its WalmartLabs division, and it is distributed under the Apache-2.0 license, making it a globally accessible open-source project despite its corporate American origins.
