Chocolat Robert is a prestigious bean-to-bar chocolate maker based in Madagascar. Founded in 1940 by the Robert couple in Brickaville, it is one of the few chocolate companies globally that processes luxury chocolate entirely at the source where the cocoa is grown. The brand is celebrated for its commitment to 'Raise Trade,' which ensures that more of the value created during the production process stays within the country of origin, supporting local farmers and artisans.

The manufacturing occurs primarily in Antananarivo, Madagascar, utilizing cocoa beans sourced from the Sambirano Valley. In 1977, the company was acquired by the Ramanandraibe Group, a prominent Malagasy family-owned conglomerate. Today, the Ramanandraibe family remains the ultimate owner, continuing a tradition of producing high-quality chocolate that captures the unique terroir of Madagascar’s fine flavor cocoa.
