Rishtan Hand-Painted Ceramic Plate

This product is a traditional Rishtan ceramic plate, a world-renowned craft originating from the Fergana Valley in Uzbekistan. Rishtan ceramics are famous for their unique 'ishkor' glaze, derived from natural plant ash, and their intricate hand-painted blue and turquoise patterns known as 'lyagan'.

The craft dates back over 800 years and is traditionally passed down through generations of master potters known as 'ustas'. Each piece is individually hand-painted with symbolic floral and geometric motifs that reflect Central Asian heritage.
