The water originates from the Maritime Alps in Northwest Italy, specifically from the Rocciaviva spring located at an altitude of 1,300 meters. The brand is famous for its distinctive bottle designs, including the iconic 'Drops' bottle created by legendary designer Giorgetto Giugiaro.

While the brand was owned by the Nestlé Group for several decades, it was acquired in 2015 by the Montecristo Group, an Italian family-owned beverage enterprise. Production remains concentrated at the original source in Garessio, Cuneo, Italy, maintaining the brand's heritage as a purely Italian water source. Today, it is recognized globally for its low mineral content and sophisticated packaging.
