Speick is a traditional German brand specializing in natural cosmetics. Founded in 1928 by Walter Rau, the company is famous for using the extract of the high alpine Speick plant (Valeriana celtica), which is harvested by hand in the Carinthian Nock Mountains.

The brand remains a family-owned enterprise, currently managed by the third and fourth generations of the Rau family. They are known for their commitment to ecological sustainability and social responsibility. All production and filling of their cosmetic products take place at their headquarters in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, near Stuttgart, Germany, ensuring high quality and a low carbon footprint through local manufacturing.
