Founded in 1992 in the Netherlands, the brand was inspired by the dream of creating high-quality denim with a modern edge. The name itself is derived from the song 'Chasin' a Dream' by Tashan, reflecting the brand's ambitious DNA. Its visual identity is defined by 'The Lotus' logo, reaching back to the architectural lines of the Sydney Opera House.

Historically part of the Score Group, the brand underwent a significant transition in 2023. Following the bankruptcy of Score Group BV, CHASIN' was acquired by JOG Group, a major player in the Dutch fashion industry that also owns the Garcia brand. This acquisition secured the brand's future and global expansion strategy. Manufacturing is carried out across multiple global locations, focusing on integrating technical fabrics with traditional denim craftsmanship.
