Ottakringer G'mischtes is a traditional Austrian beer blend featuring a combination of light and dark lagers. The brand originates from the 16th district of Vienna (Ottakring), where it was established in 1837 by Heinrich Plank under the name 'Plank'sche Brauerei'.

Today, the Ottakringer Brauerei remains one of the few large independent breweries in Austria. While many competitors have been absorbed into global beverage conglomerates, Ottakringer has maintained its independence and is primarily owned by the Wenckheim family through Ottakringer Getränke AG. The production continues to be centered at their historic Vinnese site, emphasizing local heritage and traditional brewing methods.
