Celestoderm is a specialized topical medication used to treat various inflammatory skin conditions, combining a corticosteroid (Betamethasone) with an antibiotic (Gentamicin). The brand was originally established under Schering-Plough, a major American pharmaceutical firm.

Following the 2009 merger between Merck & Co. (known as MSD outside the US) and Schering-Plough, the brand remained under the Merck portfolio. However, in 2021, Merck spun off its legacy brands, women's health products, and biosimilars into a new independent company named Organon.

Today, Organon manages the manufacturing and distribution of Celestoderm globally. While manufacturing plants are located in several regions to serve international markets, a significant portion of the production for European markets occurs in Belgium at the Heist-op-den-Berg facility.
