Grundig Vintage Radio

Grundig is a historic consumer electronics brand originally established in Fürth, Germany, in 1945 by Max Grundig. The brand became an iconic symbol of the German 'Wirtschaftswunder' or economic miracle, renowned for its high-quality radios, televisions, and tape recorders like the classic wooden console models seen in historical settings.

Over the decades, ownership of the brand shifted. In the early 2000s, after the original company faced financial insolvency, the brand was acquired by the Turkish group Koç Holding. Today, Grundig operates as a subsidiary of Arçelik A.Ş., bringing a modern range of household appliances and consumer electronics to the global market while maintaining the legacy of its German engineering roots. While vintage units were made in West Germany, modern Grundig products are manufactured globally, particularly in Turkey and China.
