Deuter is a premier German brand specializing in outdoor equipment and backpacks. Founded in 1898 by Hans Deuter, the company has a long history of supplying alpine gear and high-quality travel accessories.

While the brand is rooted in German engineering and design, its manufacturing has been primarily located in Vietnam since the early 1990s through a long-standing partnership with Duke Co. Ltd. This model ensures specialized production of technical textiles.

The brand is currently owned by Schwan-STABILO, a German group better known for their writing instruments, who acquired Deuter in 2006 to expand their outdoor division.
